I'm making a feature film

I started a Substack. No this doesn’t mean the end of newsletters, just needed a place to put my thoughts because twitter is dead and instagram is for photos. It was bound to happen and I think this first post is going to lead by example of what’s to come next year. Check out my substack post and anything else I share on there, hit sub if you’d like and I’ll share with you guys some posts here and there on here.

This year has been nuts? Started off really explosive, did shorter short films, did a bunch music video related stuff, hosted and went to various film events and film festivals and completed most of my bucket list of things, truly a moment to pat myself on the back with that. Year end I found myself grateful for all I’ve accomplished, sad at times with the times we’re in and the news we receive daily, I also don’t do too well in the winter or cold, but I’m pushing through. It’s been quite the year. At some point I’d rival it against 2016 but that’s a debate I have within myself at times. Anyways, I’ll share all the films we did this year below on this newsletter. Next year the plan is to work on various projects I’m apart of in other positions. My resolutions go as follows:

• want to get better at sound, my films, other people films, learn a lil more about sound in film

• make a feature film

• further visuals with Glasshouse and meet other artists and do more music videos maybe

• travel to more film festivals

• watch more movies with my mom

There’s probably more where that came from, i’ll share some year end lists at the end of this and I still have to make a vision board, might actually make a new one from scratch this time with all the magazines I got now. Expect more from me next year, I’ll try my best and I think that’s all we can do.

Made a Substack, announced a feature film in development, plugging this in again

Geez, I think I’ve waited for this moment for a while. Well actually there is maybe one thing inn post but I can’t share anything from it yet. You’re just gonna have to wait till next year.

I don’t like ranked lists, I’d rather share a list of things to dive into and these are the films that have caught my attention that released this year. Is there a chance I missed one? Maybe, I don’t know call me out on it but I for sure have most of them on there. Hope you see your favorite in there too.

I’m looking into putting together a curated programming for a short film night next year, I’m looking for filmmakers who want to submit their rough cuts and those who are looking for feedback if this is something that interests you, email me. You guys get first dibs, I’ll make a flyer for this probably sometime this week and post but that will be the very first movie night I plan on hosting real soon. Got a couple other ones in the works too. Be on the lookout.
