FRIENDSGIVING: A short film I did with Serai Bogran.

Hey everyone, happy April. We've got two films back to back now, and we’re on quite a roll. This is a film I did with Serai. We shot it a while back and premiered it last November at El Taller.

I’d like to say some words about Serai. Serai wrote, co-produced, co-directed, and starred in this film. She’s someone I admire a lot. She approached me a while back about wanting to make films, and to be able to witness her growth and her dreams come true is one of the many blessings and things I’m grateful to witness in this life. She’s someone filled with energy, love, and hope. I appreciate every minute we end up working together, her future is so bright. I’m insanely proud of her.

This film was made with love and a lot of laughs. We shot this at my friend Isabella’s house. A home that’s been filled with so many memories and real friendsgivings that occur every year. I love Isa and her family, who are film lovers too. Her father loves John Wayne, ended up gifting him a criterion. hope he's enjoying it, and if Isa’s reading, I promise I’ll be going to the next rave soon. I miss you a ton.

We hope you enjoy this film filled with chaos and laughs. I’ve been well. A lot of cool things are coming: a tour, a couple of music videos, and more surprises. I’ll try to write more for practice. Thank you, guys, for everything. See you soon.

Life’s been pretty crazy, man, to a point where I’m going on tour and screening these films at theaters and important places. I hope you can join us on this tour, maybe I see you at one place or maybe all of em, some friends at these spots would be nice. We’re screening Bailando, Friendsgiving, man pull tf up!!
